How was everyone's Thanksgivings/Weekends??

It's been a super busy last 5 days! We had Thanksgiving with DH's mom's side on Thursday (had to travel 45 minutes to that one). Friday we went to DH's parent house to spend time with his Aunt and watch the football game. Saturday we left about 8 am and drove 3 hours to my Grandma and Grandpa's house to have Thanksgiving with my dad's side of the family. Spent the night at my parents and then had Thanksgiving with my mom's side on Sunday. Left at 4 to make the 3 hour drive home. The kids were extra fussy by this time. Fed them and put them to bed ASAP when we got home. Then Monday was get Kendra on the school bus, drop Josh off with DH's parents and then hop in the car and drive 2 hours to our tax appointment. Also hit walmart and the mall before driving back to pick both kids up at DH's parent's house and then getting them to bed. Lot's of windshield time!

I'm exhausted just reading about your trips, Kelsey.

AFM, it was okay. Mark was sick, several bits of family drama from the inlaws, but had a blast with the kids. Especially Hannah, she's 5 and really enjoyed pulling out my craft stuff and playing. Mark played some with us before he started feeling so bad (punches & those old deco edge scissors were his favorite), but mainly Hannah & I had alot of girl time. Work was insane Wednesday and yesterday and I was on call for Friday so was interrupted a few times to deal with employee issues. I'm glad the holiday is all over and am looking forward to Christmas and some "quiet" family time along with church a few dinner parties, and watching Mark enjoy his Christmas. He is loving all the lights and decorations that the neighborhood is starting to put out and we'll be pulling out all ours soon.

Jaylen's talking about the "pritteee yites" too Thanksgiving was a little stressful....we went to FIL's and he's a heavy smoker already but was basically chain-smoking while we were there. I ended up not feeling well by Friday & guessing it was from all of the nicotine in the house. Thank goodness we stayed at a motel while we were there instead of his house (BIL & his daughter stayed at FIL's house and they ended up not feeling well too).
