Hi ladies! I need to get back into a scrappy groove! I want to get caught up before the baby comes this summer. Its not THAT much really, just since last October. But it feels like a lot since I haven't been scrapping! But I got my scrap room all cleaned and organized this week, so I should be able to start getting some work done!
How about a little update on me? I'm 23 weeks along and we're expecting a boy whose name we have not committed to yet but we probably know what it is- we're just afraid of commitment! Everything is going great with the pregnancy so far. No concerns or complications or scares! The only thing is I'm gaining more weight than necessary and its driving me nuts but my doctor doesn't seem too worried about it. I'm working 3 days a week now so I should have time to scrap! I must be in nesting mode, too, because I've been very productive this week. I don't think I'll be going to work tomorrow (due to weather) so I am hoping to get scrappy! At first I was thinking I'd do some more around the house, but I think I've earned some crafty time.
I'll be perusing the challenges and pages to get some inspiration going! I really miss my creative side and have every intention of being caught up when our little man gets here!
I've missed you ladies! I hope you don't mind if I rejoin! And hopefully posting this will help me stick to my word!
Welcome back, Janessa! Glad to hear the pg is going well. I only have the 1 little one and have no idea how the other ladies manage, but my tip would be to get as much done as you can now. Because even tho baby sleeps a lot at first and I know I thought I'd get stuff done during that time, it doesn't happen. It is so nice to see you back

Yeah I imagine its quite an adjustment and if having a newborn is anything like the first trimester, I won't get anything done anywhere in the house! So I want to get everything done in the next few months and then get back into it sometime after he's born and I'm adjusted. I don't think I'll keep up nearly as well as some of these ladies do! I'll probably catch up when him and any future kiddos are in school!
I did it with 2 toddler and you were there a few times.. Easy? Not always, but I got it done.. With a newborn it wont be so hard.. The first months youll want to hold him and hopefully he wont be a clingy/colicy baby and youll be able to set him down during nap time and scrap if you want.. Its once he is mobile that things get hard... Of course, this is from my personal experience and you bieng a first time mom and being a different person than me, things will be different
Welcome back Janessa! I hope you get some scrappy time this weekend. I still haven't finished Ryland's baby album and he is 8, but i stopped Scrapping in order so I have 3 baby albums on the go.

Don't worry about getting behind. I'm still working on Kendra's 1st year album and she is 6 1/2.....matter of fact, I still haven't finished our wedding album and that was 9 1/2 years ago.
I'm way behind too. Honeymoon album is 5 years behind, pregnancy album is 3 years behind, and Jaylen's 1st & 2nd and now 3rd year albums. Was just texting with Becky about this and how I can try to catch up and maybe get one of them finished. I think I'll work on a particular album each month, it'll also help change up the "scenery"
Welcome back girlie! I was going to start pestering you again if you didn't pop back in here. (see what happens when we're also facebook friends ) I'm so happy the pg is going so well, and yay for a boy!
and yes, definitely add me to the need to catch up group. I have yet to do the pics from our Greece trip in 2008 as well as the pg book (2009-2010) and Mark's 1 year & 2nd year book. He'll be 3 in May, so I'll be playing catchup for his 3 year to very soon. And I have various other sets to do from throughout the years, Hannah's book, and I've not done a single page of our nephew born last March. I think I may do what Jess & I discussed too, focus on 1 book a month and work on those sets of pics. It'll switch up the pics & years so I don't get bored and I can also go between scrapping current pics and older ones.
