I actually decided to give the Sew Easy another try. I found a starter kit at Target for $10 (or $15?) that had a handle, 4 heads, a mat and 5 colors of thread. Turns out if you have their special mat, it works a LOT better. Hand stitching that took FOREVER though. :/ Glad it's cute.
And cute page Robin! The diamonds were why I chose that paper. I was actually going to put little felt flowers with a brad in the center on the apexes like on the cake, but decided it would be too much and did the stitching instead.

I'll have to give mine another shot. I also have their special mat but still had problems. All my points on the head wanted to bend over/go dull.

I like mine, but agree that the stitching is a PAIN! I have their "special mat" and still seem to have problems getting the poky things to go thru the paper. Just means I need to practice more

Great pages ladies!
I ended up having to re-pierce several holes when I used my sew easy. I too need more practice with it.
