I wanted to see how many of you would be interested in this.
I was thinking that we could each make a set number(how ever many people sign up would be the number) of cards. Then we mail one of our original cards (unsigned) to everyone on the list. This way we can have a nice assortment of hand made cards to send out to our family and friends!

This is a great idea. And it is never too early (well January would be LOL) to think about this. Time has been flying for me lately. I can't believe summer is almost over and I will be 30 in a little over a week!!!!!!!!

Yeah sounds good!!! I am not so good at cards. But the LSS is actually already running classes on Xmas making cards....so sogn me up please.

I havent really thought about a deadline yet I was just curious if anyone else was interested. We need to have enough time to make the cards and to mail them so that everyone gets them in time to re-mail them...

I think this is a great idea. Plus it will give me more practice, so far I've only made 2 cards for Father's Day.

I would love to do it but I will be doing a gift exchange for both my kids and I think that is gonna be enough for me this year, plus all my SB stuff is packed away.
I do think it's a great idea though!

What does everyone think about making the cut off date to sign up September 17th and the mailing date to be October 17th?
This way you will have a month to make all the cards, and after we mail them all out we will have plenty of time to write in them and re mail them to our family and friends.
Try to keep the cards 5x7 or smaller like a 3x5.
I will be posting this in the subforum for swaping things that way we wont have to dig to find this topic everytime you need to look at it.

I am thinking that everyone will have to buy a box of gift card envelopes to mail out the cards that they made to everyone on the list, and there should be enough envelopes left in that box for you to mail out the cards when they come to you.
