On Friday they were 1164! So I more than doubled from 455!
They didn't check the progesterone Friday because I had literally just started the supplements. Nurse said the dr may want to bring me in this week to check those.
Otherwise, I'm waiting on a return call about an appointment and ultrasound!

Now here's the question for all of you--- I have had consecutive rising (more than doubling) betas since last Monday-- do you think it's finally safe to be excited?!

With my previous m/c's I never doubled (one m/c never got above 200, the other did end up getting high but it was not doubling at all), so this is completely different than those so far

Sounds like your numbers are increasing just as they should be!! What type of progesterone are you on?

It's the progesterone suppositories- from what I've read people have had awesome success with them! I read about women with progesterone levels <6 having a huge increase (to like 30+) while using smaller doses than mine. Mine was 6.4, and they started me on 200mg 3x a day!

I do the vaginal suppository every morning at 90mg & 2cc of PIO at night. Sounds like your progesterone should go up nicely!

Was your progesterone low or is that normal for surrogacy?

It's typical with surrogacy and all IVF transfers because your body is not releasing the egg & having it fertilized inside our bodies, its all done on in the labs, that our bodies don't even know to create progesterone.

Makes complete sense! Do you get to stop them when the placenta takes over?

And thanks everyone!

I was told I get to stop somewhere between 9-12 weeks, so soon. Which is good.. My backside hurts from those PIO injections.. I'm also on estrogen patches that I have to put on my belly that make me itch like crazy. It's totally worth it, don't get me wrong.. But I'm so ready to be done with these meds! LOL

I don't blame you! I'm already over the suppositories but will gladly suck it up if it means healthy baby!
