I am 5 weeks today, I found out that I was pregnant by going to the clinic on Saturday but it was too early for them to give me an u/s. I was feeling all kinds of cramps, back pains, nausea, and frequent urination all last week but this week all of my symptoms have disappeared. I'm really scared that something is wrong.
My symptoms were worst in week 5 and early 6 and now Im feeling a little better and can actually eat and sleep. Im almost in week 7. I have an OB appointment on Monday and first ultrasound isnt until around Christmas (probably right after). I was worried, too as I started spotting but I can definitely tell I have a few symptoms still just not as bad and I took another pregnancy test I had around the house and the test line came up dark before the control line even appeared. I also talked to the nurse practitioner on duty and she said it is fine to spot and everything sounds normal so I am not stressing it.. But wont know for sure til blood work Monday and Ultrasound after that.. If you arent getting pains or bleeding, you are probably fine. But I know how it feels to think that way. I know it is maybe TMI, but I noticed that my symptoms went from not being able to eat anything to a few cravings and being really constipated (because your bowels slow down to absorb nutrients for baby).. I was told that if I get worse than period cramps, any sharp pains accompanied by blood, or spotting more than will fill a pad in an hour I should go to the ER.. Maybe that helps? Try not to panic.. thats no good.
Congrats and welcome Symptoms will come and go and have you going crazy. I know its easy to say but the best thing that you can do is just to sit back and relax and if you get any extreme cramping/pain or bleeding, call the OB.
Congrats and welcome I'm a first time mom too!! Enjoy the lack of symptoms while you can because they WILL be back lol for the last couple of days I've actually felt really good, just super hungry, so I started to worry. Woke up this morning to terrible nausea, exhaustion, and constipation lol if you ever feel like something is seriously wrong, thats the time to go to the doctor. Otherwise, like these other lovely ladies have said, dont worry because symptoms come and go happy pregnancy!
