Today is by far the hardest day I've had so far in this pregnancy anytime I drink any water, I feel like I'm going to vomit. Pushed through the nausea and ate a chicken sandwich earlier and havent eaten anything since. I think it made me feel worse too. Hubby and I have been having mini-spats because I've been a b**** alllll day, almost started crying while we were driving to the store because I felt like he was being mean to me. When did I turn into such a pansie?! And, I just have a feeling that I will be fighting the urge to through up tonight. uggggh. Even the thought of nibbling on some crackers makes my stomach gurgle

Anybody have any advice or tips on how to feel better?

So these are the things that helps me with my nausea. They don't keep me from throwing up because I will do that anyway, but they help me feel a little better.

- Drink everything with ice cubes. I don't know why, but it helps.
- Try to slice up fruit and vegetables. They are easier to eat that way. Pears and apples are great. If you throw up a lot, try banana. It may not be the fruit you want right now, but it's so mild to throw up. Grapes are awful to throw up.
- Don't ever think about eating something you don't wanna eat at all. I'm thinking that I should eat more fish, but fish makes me sick at this stage.
- Don't know if you have these in the states, but soups that you just add hot water to are great if you can't make any food because of the sickness. Also the salt in them are great if you're throwing up.
- Popsicles!
- Salty snacks are always nice.
- Juice and ice tea(not too much though because of the caffeine) may help.
- If you throw up a lot, buy some nice pastilles. Of course, you do want to brush your teeth as well, but they might help you feel better.
- Don't be so scared of throwing up because afterward you feel awesome. For like.. half an hour or something.

And by the way, this reply is written in my bathroom next to the toilet. I feel your pain.

Awww I hope you feel better!! I've always had such irrational fears about throwing up (choking and dying, breathing it in, swallowing and re-throwing everything up) that now I'm scared I'll push the baby out if I do lol all of these ideas sound great though, thinking about making some soup right now

One thing that isn't cool to throw up is spaghetti...might want to avoid that (speaking from experience when I was pregnant with my daughter).
