What do you drive? Does everyone fit in the same car? How often do you all go somewhere in the car together?

This is #4. I have a caravan. I also babysit my niece so when baby comes and the kids aren't in school, I'll have 5 in the back. It's not easy getting 3 carseats across the back row, but its doable.

I have six so when we travel as a family, I usually have to sit in between the middle row seats with the babies so my daughter can sit in the front with DH. Its a riot really. We just bought a new Dodge Grand Caravan and it is bigger on the inside than my Honda Accord so at least that helps. With this little one coming (hopefully I will make it that far) we will have to travel as a family in two cars...lol

This is #4 for us, but car-wise won't be any different. We have a mini van... 8 and 7 year olds sit in the far back, 3 year old is in the middle seat. There's a 2nd middle seat (with a space between the two seats so the far back is easily accessible even with 2 carseats in place) and that's where new baby would go. If we have another after this, 3 year old will move to the back with the big kids and then his seat would be open for another baby.

And when we do have #4, we will be in the car together often. DH's family is in North Carolina, mine is in New Jersey. Plus we are constantly doing stuff together in the evenings during the week (sports, etc), and family stuff on weekends.

This will #4 and the main reason we're done is because we probably can't fit 5 very comfortable in our van.

Kelllilee: The Mazda5 is my absolute favorite car!!!

This is #4. We have a Chevrolet Traverse fits 8 comfortably. We love it. Its the only car I drive. DF has a Mazda Protege that is clearly too small for the fam lol but he likes it.

We had a minivan for #s 3-5, then an 8-passenger for #s 6-7 which we then added a 4-seater bench to for #8. After #8 we found a fabulous 15-passenger which is my mom-mobile. We still have a minivan for when only a few of us need to go out, however I really don't like it because no one gets out of your way when you are in a minivan whereas most people don't mess with larger vans.

We have a Chrysler Town & Country and fit 4 kids in it fine. 5, I'm not sure, so we're looking at a surburban or something else, we'll see. We could squeeze 3 in the back, but I'd prefer a larger vehicle.

I drive a 15 passenger van. We also have a conversion van, but I don't drive that.

alittlelost, it's almost like driving a bus, LOL. We actually considered a small bus. My teenagers were horrified though. A 15 passenger van is great for transporting people, but has zero cargo space, it is awful for grocery shopping unless we take out a seat.
