I love to read. I love finding new great books. I'm addicted to the Kindle app on my iPad!

Share some of your favorites with me, please.

Have you read Collen Hoover? She's awesome. She has 3 books and they're all like $2.99 each on Amazon. Great price and GREAT books.

Other good ones:
These is My Words
The Help
A Million Miles in a Thousand Years
Divergent and Insurgent
Redeeming Love
Same Kind of Different as Me
Midwives

I fell in love with Twilight when I read that series. I mean *fell in love* like depressed that I wasn't married to Edward! lolol It was so bad that I was afraid to read The Host. I was afraid to get all bummed out again. I've heard it was good, though, so I guess I should just toughen up and read that sucker!

Yes, I get what you mean about the twilight saga. the host made me feel like I wanted to be living in a cave after world domination of aliens. Boy do I get lost in my books. I carry one everywhere in case I have a minute of down time, and my 17yr old is the exact same way. Love that baout him other teens give him a rough time because he actually gets in trouble at school for reading too much.

I think we can loan books too on Kindle/Amazon I think there's a limit to how many/how often, but I don't know the details off hand

Anyone who hasn't read the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon is seriously missing out on one of the best series ever!! I found it earlier this year (it consists - currently - of 7 BEBs - Big Enormous Books - (number 8 is out in about a year)), and read the whole series twice in four months! I still, on a daily basis, miss the characters. They became like family to me. I can't wait until next year to hear what they've been up to.

Anyway, I am currently reading LOTR 'cause I've never read it before. Loving it! I have lots of books on my to-read list on Goodreads, but I'm always open to suggestions. I still haven't read the Twilight series either, so I need to do that.

You ladies listed some of my favorite books. I still think my all time favorite is "The Host". I loved the twilight books but I have to say I liked that one even better! I just finished the "Matched" Trilogy as the third one just came out and they were alright. They kept me reading til the end. I also like the distopian kind of books but its getting a little much being out there all over. I liked the series starting with "Delirium" but its supposedly a trilogy and the third isn't out until March. Im kinda bummed about that one. The Hunger Games was amazing. The 50 Shades of Gray series was just ok. I liked the story behind it but the sex scenes seemed copied and pasted a lot. That about sums up my latest reading. I could go on and on and on.. but super excited to see other book suggestions!! I got kindle gift cards for Christmas and I need a new book or series.

you can loan books.. the publisher has to have released lending rights, though.. I borrowed the second and third hunger games and bought the first I believe (maybe the other way around).. but not all books can be done that way. You can see in the book listing or when you go to manage your kindle account you can select lending as an option for the books and all you need to do is put in the other person's email address. They get an email asking if they want to accept. They have *I think* about 2 weeks to respond and download it and 30 days to read it before it is returned to you. You can only lend the book to one person at a time and while it is lent, you cannot read it. Hope that helps.

I just read The Twelve Tribes of Hattie. It was okay. It was one of Oprah's Book Club books, and supposed to be fabulous. I found it to be a quick read but somewhat boring and not a continuous story, but more like a bunch of short stories stuck together. I didn't really care about the characters, but I like to finish what I start.

I haven't had much time to read, but I love too. I usually buy mine from the thrift store or swap with my grandma.

If anyone wants a free ebook copy of one of my paranormal fantasy books, just PM me (and don't ever mention my name on the board once you know it, lol). I'd be happy to send a copy to any of you ladies.

I didn't want to mention that I've read your book just in case you wouldn't want me to...but now that you've mentioned them. Lol

I highly recommend her books.
I'm eagerly awaiting the next one.
