Female. I had a male deliver my boys though. I'm excited to have a female ob again. She's also a friend and she's just awesome.

Male. I've seen him since before dd was conceived and he's wonderful. He delivered dd and was there during ds delivery. Ds was actually delivered by his female student doctor/intern doctor while my OB was in the room. Both deliveries were smooth sailing.

Our clinic has both and you see whoever they schedule you with. I was lucky enough the last pregnancy to be able to see one main MW for most of my appointments. I think I saw a different MW once and an actual OB 3 times. Once male, 2 times a female.

All of the Obs at the practice I go to are women, however my Gyn is a man. (He's "retired" from Obstetrics and only practices gyn in that office now, so when I'm pregnant I get handed over to the Obs)

My midwife is female but now that I think of it, I've had better experiences overall with males than females. I haven't met this midwife yet.

my midwife is female. I've never had much luck with male doctors. they might know how a woman's body works, but they don't understand a woman's mind, and that's just as important to me--especially during pregnancy.

I'm at a group of all female midwives. My last OB was male and the first one was female.
