Ok, So went in, BP is great, 123/75. Saw the practitioner again. She told me that my body is producing Negative Antibodies. Since I'm positive blood type, this is very concerning. Did an u/s. Saw our lil Who measuring right on track at 7wk4d and a HB of 152! (Baby is attached on my right side) Then she saw a very large SCH. The thing is huge, and goes about 1/3 of the way around my uterus. I am being sent to the perinatologist. I'm still on bed rest. And I follow up again in a week.

the SCH explains a lot I'm glad baby is OK and I hope your next appt goes well also! also, it's supposed to be okay if you are positive and the baby is negative, but dangerous if you are negative and the baby is positive, from what I understand.

I have no idea. I think that's why they are sending me to the perinatologist.

I don't know yet. This is the first time anything like this has happened that I'm aware of. I'm sure either the OB or the perinatologist will tell me next week when I go in. I keep trying to research the situation to see what might happen, but it just leaves me with so many more questions.

I'm glad the baby is healthy! Sorry about the other stuff :/

Did they tell you WHICH antibody you are producing? There are quite a few different ones. Are you sure you aren't RH negative? I am, and I had Antibody D show up on my labs but we are hoping it is just residual from the Rhogam shot. They will follow it closely though.

I have all the paperwork in the car, but she said that I am RH + and so is the baby, yet I'm producing negative antibodies and she doesn't know why. I think that's why I'm being sent to the Perinatologist? It's very confusing. This is the first time I've ever had this kind of issue, so I'm not quite sure what all this means. I would love to discuss the paperwork with someone to see if they could shed some kind of light on what all this means.

If you want to post which antibody it is, if it is on your labwork, I can see if it is one I have ever had? I have a history of lupus AND I'm rh negative so I have had a LOT of antibody screens LOL
