So what do you guys think?

Currently my gender ultrasound is scheduled for 3/2 (I will be 16w4d), and I plan to have a "Gender Reveal Party" that afternoon to announce the gender... and totally forgot that's my sister's anniversary! Oops!

So I am thinking about calling to see if I can do it 2/23 (15w4d) instead.

What do you think? Will it be a HUGE difference to do it the week before? Or is 15w4d pretty solid enough to get a gender?

I did mine at 15 weeks and it was very clearly a boy. The place where I went has a money back guarantee they will know the gender at 15 weeks flat. So I'm assuming that means 15 weeks should be pretty reliable

Make sure you start drinking a lot of water (like you should anyway) but it really helps with the pictures.

The place I'm going has a gender guarantee too, now that I think about it. They won't refund the money, but they will bring you back in to get a definitive answer

I drink TONNNNNNNNNNNS of water, I think I'll be good! Hopefully I can sit still long enough for the ultrasound without having to pee! lol!

I actually found out my son was a boy at 14 weeks at a suprise ultrasound! I went back again at 16 weeks it was very obvious then. I found out my daughter was a girl at my 20 week ultrasound and was told "well there is nothing down there so that means you are having a girl."

Blah...I'll be *14* weeks the week of our anniversary (the 12th) and Valentines Day. I sooooo wish it would be possible to tell the gender then because I will also have a peri appt and u/s that week!! Grrrr but it's probably too early :/

This may be interesting to you all

Embryo Development external genital sex organs - angle of the dangle boy or girl ultrasound gender scan - Baby2see

These are pics at 14 weeks. Not a big difference

Personally, I'm not comfortable until at LEAST 16 weeks and even then I'm wary. I know too many mamas told the wrong gender haha.

We have close friends that were told at their 20 week scan it was a girl...then about a week before she was due they had another scan to check positioning and they found out it was actually a BOY!!!!

Personally, I won't do a gender scan until 18 weeks at the earliest, just to be safe.

I was going to go to a 4d ultrasound place and pay to find out the gender but now I'm not sure. My Obgyn does the gender u/s at 20 weeks. I waited until then with both my kids and it was fine. Only 2 appointments away actually! 9 weeks away it will be hard seeing everyone else here find out though so who knows.
