So I am really into not finding out the gender this time around but I have had a hard time convincing my husband so we agreed on a compromise! I just made my apt for March 28th yay! So the plan is we will bring our own envelope and before the tech does the scan we will tell her we don't want to know the gender but she can print off some pictures showing the gender and we will put them in the envelope and seal them up. This way if we want to find out we can and plus even if I talk my husband into waiting it will be fun to open up the envelope after the baby is born and have the gender pictures.
What do you think? Great idea or not? Everyone thinks we will cave and find out so I have to prove them wrong, he he!

That is an awesome idea. I wouldnt even have the strength to let the envelope be sealed!
However, that being said... I give you TONS of credit if you can keep from opening it having that temptation nearby.. also, definitely on your side if you open it because I can't wait to find out my baby's gender and the gender of all the little ones in here. Ill be super excited finding out genders when they are born, too.
That sounds like a great idea! I would be one opening it in the car on the way home too, though. This is why we never have Christmas or birthday presents from family to open on that day--I'll just open them as soon as they come in the mail. Patient? Not so much!
I am waffling a little bit on trying to wait to find out the gender, though. I think it would be neat to wait, and if I could make it through the appointments then there'd be no way for me to cave and find out early. I prefer neutral baby stuff anyway (greens, yellows, adorable jungle animals, and so on!), so that would actually be great. But curiosity will probably get the better of me...
