Sometimes when I lay down on one side my arm or hand will go numb, and I've also been noticing my feet getting more tingly and numb on occasion. Anyone else have this more now that they are pregnant? I don't know if I should brush it off or be concerned. This didn't happen in my other pregnancies. Any insight would be helpful.

My pinky toes keep going numb, but I'm not sure if it means anything since it usually happens in just one pair of shoes I have (didn't happen before being pg though, weird...)

With my last pregnancy (and starting this pregnancy already) I had pretty bad pregnancy induced carpal tunnel. It went away after I had my DS. It gets pretty annoying because as soon as I am laying down my arms and hands will be tingly and numb until I move around.

It could be what you're experiencing too.

Every morning I now have a brief tingle in my feet when I get out of bed and step down onto the floor. And sometimes my arms or hands will get like that, but I'm sure that's just from sleeping awkwardly on my side and ending up on top of them.

I don't think it's uncommon but don't know if it usually starts this early. It's been so minor for me that I haven't been concerned about it, though.

I had it bad with DD. It was to the point that it was painful and would wake me up in tears. Found out that I was diagnosed with Pregnancy Carpel Tunnel. Try sleeping with your wrist in a brace to help, it stabalizes your wrist and hand helping your arm. However, if the problem doesn't correct itself within 6 months PP, you might get referred to an orthopedic. I had to get surgery on my right side last november when it never went away. Pregnancy caused me severe carpel tunnel in my right hand and moderate in my left.
