Today's appointment was a simple one. I met the student that is shadowing my doctor for the first time. He was the one who checked for babies heartbeat and he seemed to have a difficult time at first which freaked me out a bit. I think he's just inexperienced because he eventually found it on the right side and it was 145 bpm (it was 176 last time when my actual doctor found it). My blood pressure was good. I hate being weighed in winter because I had my big old snow boots on and I swear that adds some pounds.
Then I got to speak with the billing lady. not so thrilled with what our new insurance covers or should I say doesn't cover. Blaaaah.
Baby seems to be doing well though so that's good. I go back in 2 weeks for my AFP test & then again in 5 weeks for my anatomy ultrasound.
Yeah, he just sounds inexperienced. glad he found it so you didn't get permanently freaked out O.o you MAY blame the boots. My FLIP FLOPS add a pound, no lie ;) Sorry about the insurance :( Bet you can't wait for your ultrasound :)

Ugh that stinks about the insurance! Glad baby is doing well though!!!
I'm 13 weeks and they have been trying to get my kiddo on the doppler the last three times I have been in, and they never can, have to do a u/s every time LOL. The consensus so far is that baby is always squirming around too much to catch on the doppler. Another kid that never sleeps, great. LOL
