my daughter has a gymnastics meet in Orlando tomorrow, so we're heading up there soon. I was supposed to have my glasses by today, but they were closed (I couldn't pick up yesterday when I was supposed to because my house was still a little sick). So I won't be able to see anything other than replays from the camcorder Anyway, daughter is really excited about it. I may post a video of it (maybe after we have a private forum up) if I'm able to get good footage

LOL

Uh, NO shopping while I'm there. I'm broke until either my advance comes in or until my next royalty payment comes in.

In fact, I owe DH $500 right now O.o

Oh, definitely He knows I'm good for it haha but I hate borrowing money from him. Just wish this advance would come in already because that would take care of everything baby-related we need all in one shot!

Thanks everyone

My husband tried to lend me his glasses but they didnt work. At all. He's like, how blind are you?!

Yeah pretty bad. I'm fine with reading distance but beyond that I'm terrible.

we're obviously back now Thanks for the well wishes! I'll post a video once the private forum is up

For those who know me off JM, if you're really curious, follow the breadcrumb trail to my youtube station and you'll see the video soon!

Overall, she did great, especially for her first competition. She did great on Beam and Bars. She WOULD have done great on floors except she made this HUGE and BIZARRE blooper (a mistake she hasn't EVER made before) and not only was it a big deduction, it also threw off her timing, which ruined the rest of the floor routine as well. It really hurt her score, but she's okay with it, and it wasn't the worst score. She did as expected on vault (her weakest event). Overall she scored a 35.5 (out of 40).
