What baby wash, lotion etc have you used on your other babies or will use on this baby?

We've always used Johnson's Baby stuff and I love the smell of it but I think I remember something about there being stuff in it that's very bad for baby? Or maybe I'm imagining that?
What about Aveeno? Anyone use that? Is that owned by Johnson's too?

I used this on Chase when he was a baby - California Baby Natural & Organic Products Official Site
It's pricey though :\ My aunt used to send it to me because she swore by it-- I agree though, it was really nice and gentle and the kind I had was a very light light scent, nothing overwhelming

We used just water and a soft cloth for the first few and then I had found some organic baby wash (but that was almost 8 years ago!) I'll have to do some research for something skin sensitive

I used Suave sensitive on my kids right now. DD just got back from a weekend with her Bio Dad and he used johnson's on her and now her skin is so dry it's flaking off. I'm having to put lotion on her constantly. Not sure what I'm going to use on the new baby.

I didn't know anything was wrong with Johnson's, that's what we normally use.

We used Aveeno, but didn't do bubble baths as DD was prone to getting UTI's from bubble baths.

Didn't know that about J and J and we used to use their bedtime bath stuff because it's smells SO good! Time to look into alternatives I guess.

We use California Baby and started using that with #3 because he would get bad eczema flareups with other stuff.

Is it true the California Baby smells like Black Liquorice? Anyone used Burts Bees?

california baby doesn't have a smell to me. I don't like the smell of the burts bees or at least one of the products we received. I miss the J&J smells though, oh baby smells.

yes J&J has the best smells! I wouldn't be happy with unscented wash and I definitely don't want anything scented like black liquorice.

We used Aveeno, then, after that article came out about the carcinogens, we switched to just using a castille soap, which you can find cheap online or soap makers, you can even make your own if you're so inclined.

We stayed at a fancy hotel last summer and they gave us Burt's Bees baby products and, honestly, I LOVED them. We might buy them this time. My kids are getting older now and I use a suave shampoo on their heads and whatever anti-bacterial soap is in the shower on their bodies.

We also don't do bubble baths to prevent UTIs. But, we do occasionally use the colored bath drops (crayola makes some, there are cheaper generic brands) they don't stain, they just turn the water a different color and my big kids think it's awesome, I wouldn't bother in a newborn/infant bath though.

I used Cetaphil wash. DS and I both have VERY sensitive skin, and that and Dove sensitive are the only cleansers we can use without rashing. Good luck!
