Or at least wishing I hadn't posted about it on my FB. The two pics the tech printed weren't the ones she identified gender from. It was bigger on the screen and the classic thigh center thigh shot. Now I have still gotten PMs and stuff and I am just upset.

These are the two pics I got

Doesn't look like anything there to me.
Don't let people get to you. I'm sure your little girl is still a girl! Hugs

I'm sorry people are bothering you about it. I announced the name on fb and showed a potty shot and regular pic and I'm surprised I didn't get any sort of negative reaction so far. I expected SOMEONE to say "yeah, I bet it's not a boy, it's too early".

I would just ignore them or tell them off a bit. lol I'm mean, but seriously, I'd want to say "well, I think the ultrasound technician knows better from watching live video of the sono for ten minutes than you do looking at a picture she didn't even identify the gender from". Maybe that's the hormones talking though.

It's a little blurry, it's clearly a girl, IMO. Anyone who thinks it's a boy doesn't know where penises grow from

It's partly blurry because I took the pics with my phone lol. It is just stressing me out and I feel like I am going to end up disappointed in 3 weeks!

You won't, hon. It's a girl. Boys look like they have half a third leg there. YOU CAN'T MISS IT. Trust me. You can't hide a "third thigh" (And that's really what it looks like right now if it's a boy--totally disproportionate at that gestation, I know).

Ugh well you know I'm going through the same thing lol. I am so stressed about it and whether or not there will still be something between his legs next time. And we broke down and bought two onesies and now I feel like we jinxed it or something and I just REALLY do not want to have to return them. Lol.

I'm confident yours is a little girl though, you have several really clear shots AND yours are real potty shots which are more valid than what I have for Max. I'm going to repst his pic to try to make BOTH of us feel better lol, because even though it is a totally different angle, I *think* it's pretty clear that at least there is SOMETHING between the legs on mine that isn't there on yours...right? RIGHT??!! lol

Here it is:

What is wrong with people? Sorry they're being like that, but try not to worry about it! Of course the ultrasound tech knows what they're doing better than some random people, and it's none of their business anyway.

I have the same fear, mostly because I have had a couple people at work tell me it is too early. Plus, the Internet searches. LoL. Buuuut, my tech was more than 100% sure and I am inclined to think she knows better than they do! Yours was really sure, too, right?! Plus, we are due at the same time. Some people are just negative buttheads! You will prove them wrong in a few weeks!

She said she was positive! She even knew for awhile before she told us and then said she was just double checking everything. I was so caught up in everything but my DH even said "wow that looks like a vagina" lol!

I also want to add that elective ultrasound places are very careful about giving a definite answer because it is bad for business if they tell you 100% when they aren't really. This is what the lady said back when I had Chase's gender scan. Of course there's always room for error, but a huge part of their entire business is telling people what gender their baby is, you bet they make sure they do it right. If they weren't good at it they'd go out if business pretty quick.

I'm sorry people are being so annoying on FB. I honestly don't know what gets into people sometimes. I'm very sure you have yourself a little girl. Her shots are much much different than my boys at the exact same gestation.

I'm sorry! People don't think a lot of times before they speak. I heard it with #3 when we found out super early with him. It honestly looks girlie to me, and I would think girlie all the way! {HUGS}

And FTR with #1, we found out with her at 18 weeks and I STILL worried about what if they were wrong, especially since old ladies told me I was carrying like I was having a boy, and then I worried that maybe it was wrong. Now while ultrasounds can be wrong, they are right more than they are wrong and I would think girl until proven otherwise. {HUGS}

Thanks everyone! Even my husband who had no idea what a girl ultrasound would look like said not only did he see the 3 lines but he thought it looked like a vagina so I know I shouldn't let other people get me down. I guess it is partly because it is something we want so much and I just still can't believe our dream came true!

Glad your husband was able to make you feel a bit better about it!
I have to agree-- looks all girl to me! BUT that being said, I can totally relate! Especially when at first the tech thought BOY and then changed it (and got multiple pictures to back up her change to a girl)... so I went to another message board that I visit that has a specific ultrasound board run by a certified tech. I posted all of the images, including the boy one, because I was nervous. She told me without a doubt that my little girl IS a little girl!

I'm going to PM you the link to that board so you can hop over and ask for help too!
