Hi!
I'm excited they are finally assigned
I've been in the ER since 5am or i would have replied sooner, had bleeding and a clot (then bleeding stopped ) which was the same thing that happened at 10 weeks. They said it wasn't an sch last time but they now think it could be a little tear that only bleeds every once in a while. I had a u/s and baby was happy with "his" usual heartrate of 147.
Anyways i have 2 angel babies, both from last year (April and July). I'm so jealous of everyone that knows gender already cause they don't tell you in Canada until at least 19 weeks. Where are you from? i live in Vancouver Canada.
How are you feeling? Are you still on bedrest for the sch?
Not sure if yoy want all our convos public, if not we can pm. let me know what you think.

We can totally PM and if you have FB we can do that too.

My appointment today was actually great news. I'm 13.4 right now, and my SCH is very small now. On moderate bed rest, which means I can clean! YAY! Baby is measuring really great, and SHE is full of personality. She's going to be feisty like my DD. We did some nub shots and it was all girly, then potty shots, and there was NOTHING between those legs. So we are expecting a girl! Jaspyr will be her name.

When you bleed is it after something stressful or when you wake up first thing in the morning and really have to pee?

I ask because with my SCH the only times I would have really heavy bleeding or spotting is when my BP would get high from stress or when I first woke up in the morning and didn't wake all night to pee. It's always scary to not have answers to ease your mind.

I live in Texas. I'm originally from a small town outside of Dallas, and with DH is the Army, we are stationed at Ft Bliss in El Paso. So I'm about 10 hours from home and my friends.

And other than the serious exhaustion I feel good. Still have pretty severe morning sickness, and apparently this baby hates cereal. I get super sick after eating it no matter what time of day it is.

FYI: I'm a talker. So feel free to tell me to hush at any point!

The first time I bled, we had gone for a little drive to the US to pick up a few things for baby (it's so much cheaper than Canada) and had lunch. We got to a friends around 6 and was only there for 2 minutes when I felt a HUGE gush (that time I think I lost upwards of 1/2 cup of blood all at once...sorry TMI).

This time I woke up at 5 and felt a little trickle and thought I was peeing my pants, went to investigate and as soon as I sat down I lost a clot (2-3 inches). The only good thing out of yesterday was being able to see baby again, and man does it have a long torso (got a pic from behind so we could see the whole spine, we think its a boy and has a long body like daddy).

I work from home so if I get put on bedrest at least I know I already don't run around all day like some people at work, I sit in a big comfy chair with me feet up all day.
I just hope I don't turn into a high risk pregnancy and I can have a somewhat "normal" 2 trimesters, with my two losses over the last year I just don't want to be scared and worried for the next 6 months. I guess I just have to wait and see on Monday what my OB says.

It must be hard with family and friends being so far away, especially when you could use some help with being on bedrest while DH is away. Is there someone that can help out when you go in to have Jaspyr, to look after your son and daughter? And someone to be with you for the birth?

How is the bleeding this morning? Has it slowed down at all? I started spotting again last night and this morning (it normally completely stops after the clot).

Bleeding has slowed down a little. I am the Chapter Manager for a local online mommy board, we are so tiny like maybe 10 active users, and with El Paso being so big, it's divided into 4 areas-West Side, North East, Central, and Far East, so there's only like 3 of us who live on the Far East by me. One of them is a mom of 6 and she's agreed to take K&K for me when I go into labor. I'm supposed to keep my oldest sister updated so I can fly her in right before I go into labor for her to be there with me, and MIL should be able to come down from Pennsylvania right before DH comes home to help me pick him up from the air field.

Bleeding is beyond scary. The first time for me I had just got to the OB for my 6 week appointment and it just gushed out. No clue how much but I was going through a lot of pads. Then had a repeat at about 8 weeks. Clots only at 11 weeks, and now this. One of my sweet friends from back home told me that she wished we were closer so she could help me out. I have so much support over there, but there's only so much they can do now. KWIM?

I really want DH to come home. I was a single mom with DS and DD before, but those pregnancies were normal and uneventful. If this one followed suit it wouldn't have been a big deal at all, but so not how it's turning out!

Are they not treating you as high risk with your previous losses? I know here they immediately put me at high risk because of my SPPH and that was before the SCH reared it's ugly head.

I'm so glad you have support for when baby comes and after

What is KWIM? And SPPH?

They haven't really been treating me as high risk however the OB has done certain testing and u/s earlier than they would normally do. She also put me on progesterone in case my other babies didn't "stick" because of low levels. I was suppose to stop at 12 weeks and I did so but since my episode yesterday I have decided to go back on until I see my OB next week. I've heard of studies that say that progesterone helps decrease chances of placental abruption but who knows I'll have to ask my OB.

KWIm-Know what I mean

SPPH-Severe Post Partum Hemorrhaging

That's gotta be so scary and nerve wracking. I think with me having two pretty normal pregnancies that went to term and produced healthy babies it has helped me to not stress as much with all the issues this time around. I'm always going to be nervous, but my doppler helps so much to let me verify she's sticking around in there.

I'm good, no more bleeding so I'm happy...just been takin it easy. Don't have my u/s appt until the 12th and haven't heard on the specialist appointment yet so its a wait and see.

Ordered my crib today So excited to pick it up next weekend and get it set up. Then I can give my brother the toddler rail so he can start staining the dresser and side table to match the crib.

Happy Friday!! Hope you have a good weekend

Hey!
I'm Good! How are you feeling?? Your next appointment must be coming up soon to see if the SCH has gotten smaller and see if you can get off of bedrest finally?!?

So give me the scoop...how amazing is it to have DH home? Even though youve been in contact since he's been away, i bet you have lots to catch up on. So happy for you, I can't imagine the feeling of him walking through the door

Have my anatomy scan in a week and I'm so excited to see baby again!! Hoping the tech will give us the scoop on what the sex is but probably not since I'll only be 19 weeks (in BC they don't tell you till 21 weeks do to people doing gender selective abortions) and may have to wait until my appointment on the 6th boo....my OB will tell me cause she knows there is no risk of me hurting my child obviously!

What else is going on? How did your son's birthday go?
Hope all is well, chat soon

Birthday went great! It was 3 of my good friends and all their kiddos, so about 15 kids all together! Complete craziness. OMG, having the hubs home is so freaking fantastic! He makes me lay on the couch or in bed all day while he works on the house. We just ordered all the nursery furniture today. Found a great deal on Overstock for the crib, dresser, changing table, changing pad and toddler conversion for $300 and the mattress for $27 with free shipping on all of it.

Hubs is moving kids rooms around this weekend. Jaspyr will go into Karston's old room, Karston's going into Khlo's old room, and Khlo is going to the play room.

We had a litter of lab puppies a little over a week ago. 8 pups. 1 has a deposit on it already.

And I went to OB last week, SCH is still visable, but I go to the Peri on Thursday for the "official" anatomy scan and follow up again with OB next Thursday. Hoping that appointment will reveal the SCH is finally all gone.

On another note, we have managed to change Jaspyr's name and shorten and rearrange it so it's not quite such a mouth full. My mom is being sent to an assisted living facility 5 hours away that can help care for her while she's on a ventilator. They don't have a place that can take her here.

That's pretty much it. It's been a crazy and wild 5 days since the hubs came home. I do have a video of it on my FB.

WOW that is a crazy good deal! So many times when shopping do I wish I could live in the states to get the deals. For example the exact same car seat in the USA 99$, Canada $150...yet I can't just jump across the border (I live 20 min away) and buy it there cause the border won't allow me to cross with it and insurance is void if used in Canada (heaven forbid there was an accident).

Oh wow he has a busy weekend ahead of him! Aww I can only imagine how cute the little puppies are (black or chocolate labs?).
It's still visible does that mean it hasn't gotten any smaller? FX that it is gone at your anatomy scan!!!

So what have you changed Jaspyr's name to?

I think I missed something or else baby brain is not helping my memory right now...what happened to your mom that she has to be on a ventilator? That's awful! I hope she is okay!!!
It has been quite a wild and crazy few days, hope it can calm down for you a bit

Jaspyr has gone from Jaspyr Khrymsun Sutton Delilah Bay Odette to......... Jaspyr Delilah Harper Kashmyr.

About a month ago, my mom's BP became unstable and she went into cardiac arrest. When they brought her to she wasn't fully able to breath on her own, so they incubated her. However their rules at the hospital are that after 10 days they need to either pull the plug or place them on a vent. So she went on a ventilator. She still is unable to breathe on her own.

The SCH is getting smaller but it's still visable. Not sure if the Peri can release me from bed rest or if that I will have to wait for the OB to do that.

Aww so pretty I love the new additions to the name

That is so awful, I'm so sorry to hear that about your mom

At least the SCH is getting smaller, that's a good thing! Hope your appointment goes well today!

Any big plans for Easter weekend?

Thanks. I didn't get updated about the SCh at the peri but was told that I have an antibody that is considered harmful to baby but they can't identify it. So I'm doing monthly follow ups with him. I go to the OB again on Thursday.

This weekend has been lazy. My daughter's bio dad is doing his court ordered monthly visit this weekend, so since we don't have both kids Easter is moved to tomorrow so we can celebrate with both kids.

How is everything going with you?

When you talk about antibodies, are you RH-? Meaning do you have a negative blood type and baby have a positive blood type? Sorry I don't know too much about antibodies.

Everything is going great with me, feeling amazing which I never thought I would after all the m/s and bleeding/clots. Baby seems to be getting more active by the day. Waiting to hear the results of the anatomy scan on saturday but I was told by the tech that baby is measuring 19w3d not 19w1d and is 12oz, and is measuring in the 94 percentile.

How are you feeling? Did your DH get all the rooms sorted?

Ugh, I just typed this long response and it deleted everything.

I'm Rh+ and O+ as is DH. What they told me is their are basically two types of antibodies. Cool, meaning they won't hurt baby, or Warm, meaning they can hurt baby. I'm only producing a small amount so they can't tell me which antibody it is based off the amount I'm producing but they could tell me it was a warm. So I'm on monthly peri visits.

Rooms got done, just have to finish setting up nursery. DH was hoping to work on that more today but got called into work.

How was your Easter weekend?
