I had my NT scan last Thursday and had the blood work for that done 2 weeks ago today. I haven't heard the results of what my risks are for genetic abnormalities so I called this morning and asked for my nurse to check into it and call me back. She is usually very prompt and calls me back right away. It's already 2pm and I haven't heard back. This is making me fret that something is wrong and they need the doctor to call me. ACK! I wish someone would call me already!

I'm sure everything is fine

I got my first round of tests done over a month ago and still haven't gotten the results...

My Harmony 21 scan took about 2 weeks. Maybe she got busy or forgot. You could always call back. I hope you get the results soon so you don't have to worry any more.

I'm sure it's all ok! I think sometimes the doctors and nurses forget how frantic we get waiting for results because it's such routine work for them

She finally called me. My risk for DS is 1 in 770. Trisomy 18 1 in 8,600. I think the DS risk is high, but she told me it was all fine but because I am 36 the number is 1 in 770.

I am really trying to keep calm. Anyone have any input.

Sounds good to me! Mine was 1in 310 for DS, but considering that I'm 41, the risk for my age is 1 in 80 or something like that, so they deem it as low risk. Anything over 250 is ok. Sounds like you're good to go!

Thanks. I just looked up what my risk is based on my age and it says 1 in 400, so I am taking some comfort in that.
