Last pregnancy with DD2, I developed REALLY bad, REALLY ugly, huge varicose veins on my right leg. It was totally unexpected because I didn't get any with DD1. They never went away after delivery either. Everyone said they would go away or get smaller afterward but they did not!! I hate it and never wear shorts or skirts anymore because I am too self conscious.

Anyone else have these? I'm soooooo scared of getting more or them getting even worse this time. I guess I could wear support hose but I wore them last time and they didn't do a **** thing. I REALLY don't want to torture myself wearing them in the summer for nothing and then get them anyway.

I seriously hate them and am more scared of them then stretch marks. I used to think stretch marks and getting fat was the worst that could happen....I was WAY WRONG! LOL!!

well, on my legs no.. however, due to lovely pregnancy constipation, I experienced my first ever hemorrhoid.. which, as it turns out is due to irritated varicose veins. Soooo, in a way.. I just hope it doesnt spread to my legs from being on my feet all day at work!
