I am such a mess right now. I just feel like I have been sick to my stomach and in serious pain since I found out I was pregnant! I'm trying not to let it get me down, but OMG, I'm so tearful right now. I have cried at my desk twice already this morning and I have only been here a little over an hour!

I have been consistently missing two days per pay period since the beginning of the year. I'm having to take it mostly unpaid since my PTO was depleted during the holidays. My job is protected because I already have FMLA for the migraines, but this is getting ridiculous now.

I keep telling myself that this should improve around 20 weeks, but the nausea was supposed to improve around 12-14 weeks and I still have that every day, too. I don't know how I'm going to make it without going out of my mind.

Have you tried cold compresses? Do they have you on zofran for the nausea?

Yeah, I have done the compresses. I have the melt away zofran (which doesn't work) and the phenergan, but I can't take the phenergan and go to work afterwards. I only take that when I take the fioricet, but now I have having horrible neck aches after taking the fioricet.

I believe once you hit second trimester, which you are at, you can go an get a massage. You can let them know what is going on, and they can do a prenatal geared toward those areas. That might help?

Do you drink any caffeine? That is one of the only things that helps my migraines.

I have them first thing in the morning and they let up once I eat, but they usually stick around very slightly all day...I have gotten used to it but just as I write this I can feel one in the back of my head.

Yeah, I have caffeine every day. My doc from my last pregnancy told me I needed to have it daily to help prevent them. He told me there was absolutely nothing to worry about with caffeine in the second and third trimesters.

I just talked to my doc and they are suggesting trying benadryl and claritin. Maybe the horrible allergy season is triggering the migraines? I don't know. I hate taking all these meds.

I was sooo excited to be pregnant and now I just can't wait for it to be over. Which freaks me out because I don't want to bring anything negative down on myself either. Argh!

Honey, I completely relate for a different reason! So you are preaching to the choir!

I do know when my allergies are bad my migraines are worse, so try what the doctor suggests.

For the nausea try asking your Dr for Reglan. Zofran made me honestly feel worse this pregnancy but the Reglan took the edge of. Hope you get relief soon.

I'm sorry this pregnancy is bringing all these bad symptoms still! I didn't have nausea but did have horrible headaches and they went away after tripling my water intake.. My midwife said I should take time at least every hour to drink something and if I don't feel like I'm peeing all the time it is not enough. Now I've been mostly headache free.. I don't know if that'll help but I truly hope you start to feel better so you can be a happy glowing pregnant mama.

Awe I hope it gets better soon! I can relate my nausea has gotten better but its still here and the migraines have me crying at night. I have never experienced anything like this before so I just thought I was being dramatic but my doc says no everything I have done works for a short while and then they are back! Hugs I know how you feel but it will get better

Thank you guys for the support. I'm sorry so many people are having similar problems!

I have tried the chiro. It made me feel worse. I have actually had migraines since I was 14 and they have been chronic for almost 10 years now. (Wow. Just did the math and that is so depressing!). I have been through it all with these things - neurologists, most every med, chiro, accupuncture, elimination diets). You name it, I've tried it. Actually, except for massage. I haven't done that. The only massage I get is from my husband and you know what they expect after that... LOL

I am hoping that allergies are a big trigger and that the claritin and benadryl will help. I'm also going to break out the neti pot again. I just feel like the medical community has given up on me and I feel so alone with it all. My husband just feels useless and instead of comforting me, usually just stays away.
