I think we have discussed this before but now I am going to start my registry so i need to get serious LOL. I'm trying to figure out which bottles are most likely to work best for a breastfed baby that is also occasionally getting pumped milk in a bottle, without causing issues. We used playtex drop ins and cheap Gerber bottles with the girls but they were mainly FF so I'm not sure if they are good for BF babies or not. Opinions? And I did a poll also because I am sort of OCD. LOL!

My son had a lot of reflux issues and Dr. Brown's bottles worked best for us. I just used it with formula though, so I'm not sure.

My sister breast fed and pumped and she used Tommee Tippee with her kids. The baby I mind used the same.
I used Avent with my kids, just formula fed,and they're pretty similar. I bought the new Avent Naturals this time around.

My advice... Buy one bottle and test it. If it works stick with it. My only breastfed baby I tried a million bottles and he refused them all. I'm going to try the avent naturals this time.

My friend had a picky baby and went through at least 6 before finding something that worked. Her little girl just likes the boob and won't take soothers or anything.

I believe she had success with dropins

Yeah, we went through the same thing with DD1, I figure I'll add like three types to my registry and go fromt here, I'm just trying to figure out what other BF moms have had the most success with!

We tried everything, but DD never took to a bottle. At all. Whoever was watching her would struggle but ultimately she fought it and only took the boob until we got her to use a sippy cup (kind with a straw) at 6 months.

We are Tommee Tippee people! Can't go wrong with something that looks like a boob LOL . DS2 also used their sippy cups! They were the only ones he would take!

I voted other and the reason is we used walmart brand bottles and they worked just fine. She never had nipple confusion and never got any kind of reflux. And they are super cute and a little over a dollar a bottle so if we had to chunk one or it got lost it was no big deal. I love those and will go and get more for this one soon.

I liked the Avent ones. Just get wide bottom nipples with slow flow.

We used breastflow with both my niece and nephew. I started keeping each of them when they were 6 weeks old and they were the ONLY bottle that either kid would take without extreme grouchiness!

I found playtex dropins to be best for both of my kiddos while breastfeeding, but I had to get the silicone med flow nipple.

Also Medela has a nipple called Calma, with a very colicky baby it was a dream!!! I was part of a trial for them with my son however I do believe they are on sale in stores now.
