What have been the best parts of this pregnancy for you?

The hardest parts?

For me, best parts:
-getting my BFP
-making it through the first trimester
-all my ultrasounds
-finding out the gender
-shopping

worst parts:
-a little spotting early on/threatened miscarriage (actually not a big deal to me since I have this every pregnancy)
-terrible, long-lasting morning sickness (though I supposed I've had worse)
-this down syndrome scare (hope to get results tuesday, but mostly I feel confident everything will be fine)

I hate to say it but this has truly been the easiest pregnancy for me so I don't really have any lows, except maybe the fear of miscarrying again since I just miscarried in November.

The highs:
- BFP ON my birthday. EEE that was something I had always hoped for after all of our time ttc'ing
- BFP so soon after my miscarriage
- Telling the kids

I hope you get good results on Tuesday!

I'm excited to have a stress free pregnancy, I've NEVER had one and had so many issues with the other 4 but I will take it. I am on edge though a lot because I keep thinking that it's TOO easy and something is bound to creep up. Dh keeps comforting me and telling me it's TIME to have a smooth sailing pregnancy.

sounds like it! I have had a few rough things in previous pregnancies, too, but thankfully it's only ever like one major issue or a couple small problems. Couldn't imagine having tons of BIG problems ALL the time--not sure I could deal with that! but I guess you do what you got to do.

The Highs for me::

this pregnancy has been easier than the last.
Excited to find out the gender in 11 days!
Knowing that my son will have a baby brother or sister and can grow up together.
Feeling little kicks and flutters

The Lows::
The fatigue is still going strong and kicking my butt
Dealing with stress from my husbands unit
My high blood pressure problems.

Best parts:
-Getting that beautiful "YES+!!!"
-Getting my labs back every other day and hearing my HCG was doubling
-My husband being able to go to 2 ultrasounds with me
-The ultrasounds in general! I loved seeing that little blob, and now I love seeing a BABY!
-Hearing the baby's heart beat for the first time
-Finding out the gender, and finding out she is a GIRL because I really was hoping for girl!
-SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!!! lol
-Telling our kids on Christmas morning
-Our gender reveal party and my sister's reaction lol
-Stopping Progesterone and baby still being PERFECT

Worst parts:
-Getting BFNs for a few days prior to my BFP because I was testing way too early
-Finding out my Progesterone was very, very low (6.4)
-Almost passing out and being scared I had an ectopic. And then the hospital labeling it as a "threatened miscarriage"
-The Ob's office calling me and telling me that I had to have a "repeat ultrasound" a week after my first one because they couldn't confirm viability
-The migraines. Oy.
-Stopping Progesterone at 14 weeks because I was terrified it would harm the pregnancy
-Finding out that my seizure medication's level isn't as high as it's supposed to be in my body right now, and having to increase the meds because a seizure now could cause some damage

Okay that's it I think!

I can't imagine living with seizures and how scary that must be during pregnancy. FX'd for a smooth pregnancy for you!

Thanks! I appreciate the thought! Seizures SUCK lol But my meds are doing a decent job right now but my Epileptologist wants to check my levels monthly now because he's worried my levels won't be high enough even though I'm taking the medication and I could end up with a grand mal while on medication.

(on the plus side: with Chase I managed to go UNMEDICATED my entire pregnancy except for the last week before he was born. At 38ish weeks I started having seizures again and got put on bedrest but he was born at 39 weeks and I got back on my meds pretty quickly. Hoping to have a seizure-free pregnancy this time too!)

I hope you do, too, hon. I can't imagine living with that, not knowing when it might happen again. I wish there was a cure for things like that <3

Oh gosh... I can't believe I forgot to add getting an average of 4 hours a night of sleep as a low! Ugh... I'm so miserably tired all the time!
