My camera broke last fall and I have just been using my phone (HTC 4G LTE) which has a great camera, but I was thinking of getting an actual camera for when the baby arrives.

Any recommendations? I don't want to spend more than a few hundred dollars.

I have a Nikon... but I can't remember the model off the top of my head! :\ I also have a Canon Rebel that I used to love but it doesn't work quite the same way anymore.

Between my $1,000+ worth of cameras, I honestly use my iPhone the most! lol

I have a Canon Rebel Powershot. I bought it from Best Buy. It was about 400 altogether. That might be above what you want to pay.

$400 is still okay. I just don't want to spend much more than that.

I had a canon powershot which I loved, until it met its end on a marble floor. I do use my phone an awful lot, but for bigger occasions I have a canon dslr (a 60D) but that's more than it sounds like you want to spend. And even still, I wish I still had my poweshot for my purse for everyday outtings!
