So ever since I have been able to feel regular movement (the past 3 days or so ) I start to worry a little when I DON'T feel her move for hours on end. I know, I know, it's always something. And I know I shouldn't even be tracking how much she is moving this early because she is small and might be in a weird position, but that is how I roll! So any ideas how often they sleep and how long at this stage??

I haven't really been noticing a pattern. I did however think she slept quite a bit on Sunday, and then has been making up for it since then.

I don't think that mine hardly ever sleeps! Seriously she is constantly moving day and night. She is even starting to wake me at night with her antics and it takes a force of nature to wake me up!

I haven't been noticing a pattern yet either, it is pretty random I think? I read somewhere that they sleep 12-14 hours a day in the womb at some point, but I wasn't sure if they were yet?

Mine has fairly long breaks between active periods. Sometime 1-3 hours. I notice it less when I am up moving. I sure enjoy the feeling!

I haven't noticed a pattern. I'm only 18 weeks though so I would imagine in a few more weeks it'll be more constant and more on a schedule.

(typing this I just felt a little jab. Baby knows I'm talking about him)

I have read that they may start to sleep around 19 weeks, according to the "I'm expecting" app.

I thought it was about 12ish hours too

For me, I only feel her at night normally (like while I'm laying in bed). It probably has something to do with the placenta at this point, but she very well move around mostly while I'm sleeping and sleep when I'm moving around during the day

Good to know it's pretty random for everyone! I didn't feel her at all last night, I even resorted to the doppler! Silly me. She is fine of course, heart beating away and I can hear her kicking around! I am sure she is just shifting positions and kicking my back now or something.

It's funny though because after a full day of not really feeling anything, today I actually felt her kicking HARD while sitting at my desk! Baby girl is awake now haha

I think he must sleep when I sleep, because this last week he has been very active during the morning, noon, and night. And even more so when I eat. At the most, I won't feel him for three hours or so.
