I am 20 weeks today and I am not feeling any movement. The past 3 weeks there have been times I thought I may have felt what I assumed was fetal movement but this could have been in my head or nothing at all. This is definitely freaking me out because I feel like by now I should be feeling lots of flutters and kicks. My next prenatal is next Wednesday and until then I'm going to be so nervous and praying they can find a heartbeat.

Anyone else in the same boat or is it just me??

Do you know if you have an anterior placenta?

I have limited movement (and I can only feel it very very very low down), and I'm a bit over 20 weeks too. I have an anterior placenta and it's taking the brunt of her movements right now until she gets bigger so I try not to worry too much

I felt those "maybe I felt it" movements until about 21 weeks. Now I hit 22 and I feel him every day but only a little bit here and there like when he is awake and stretching or getting comfy.

Ahh.. Nope.. I have no idea because my ob cancelled my 20 week anatomy ultrasound since I have to go to a high risk doctor to get a prenatal echo and they're just going to do the ultrasound there. And that's not until April 30th! ;(

How often do you feel movement?

That's good to hear that I'm not alone. I just can't believe the baby can be 10.5" and I can't feel him or her. I just have this idea that by now I should be feeling crazy amount of flutter.

I just started feeling movement a few days ago and today was the strongest! My felt the baby for the first time today very faintly. All the movements are low down still. I hope you begin to feel something soon!

How often do you feel movement?

The first day I felt her absolutely without a doubt was on Monday (19w6d)... then I maybe felt her once on Tuesday, and I don't think I felt her Wed or Thurs. It's really sporadic and I only seem to feel her move at night while I'm laying in bed watching TV. And, with the placenta being in the front, the movements are SO minor that I think anyone could easily mistake them for gas or something else.

Here's a diagram of a posterior and anterior placenta placement... I wanted to show you the only place I feel movements right now with the anterior placenta. If you look at the diagram on the right you'll see I circled something in red. I only feel movement right in that very low spot

It's really freaky isn't it? This is my 4th pregnancy and haven't been feeling much either. I only started feeling a little bit of movement last week at 19wk. I wonder if I have an anterior placenta too. I was feeling more yesterday and today at 20wk. I feel like baby gets more active after I eat. Maybe pay close attention after your next meal and you will notice something... It's gotta be coming soon.

I'm not feeling anything either. I had a *Ohh that might be it* a few nights ago but really couldn't decide if it was or not. We have our AS scan on Wednesday and I'm getting severe anxiety about what could go wrong between now and then.

I'm going to talk to my doctor at my next actual appt about the amount of anxiety I'm having over this pregnancy. All I can see to do is dwell on the "what could go wrong" instead of the "whats going right" parts.

I just started feeling movement at almost 19 weeks, now I feel her more often and only down low (I have an anterior placenta) and I only feel her when I'm still. If this is your first baby it can take longer, so try not to worry, but I know it's hard. this is my 5th baby and I had my bouts of worry and would use my doppler to ease my mind.

I'm not sure if I've felt movement yet. Like you, I "think" I might have once or twice, but I can't be positive. I know he/she is still okay in there because I have my doppler. I'm going to ask about my placenta on Tuesday at my ultrasound. I was feeling my boys move around much earlier than this so it's a little strange.

I didn't start feeling him for sure, without a doubt until like 18w4-5d and he's been wiggling around ever since. It's different for everybody though, based on the position of baby and placenta. I keep feeling him kick up near my belly button, so I assume he's head down-ish now. I know someone who didn't feel anything until 21-23 weeks or so and now she's 30+ weeks and the baby is measuring to be big. My other friend said that her first pregnancy she didn't feel until 20 weeks, then her second was about 15-16 weeks, then her third was 22 weeks. so it just depends on the pregnancy, I think. I hope you get to see baby soon though. Do you have a doppler? It might put your worries at ease to check the hb when you feel concerned about it.

No.. I wish I has a Doppler! I worry that maybe the baby doesn't have leg function or something or is abnormally small. Urggh
