Doctor called yesterday. Apparently my fluid is still low and my cervix is also measuring at a 2.5 so theyre referring me to a specialist. She said both of those factors can be a red flag for pre-term labor so Im pretty worried. She asked if Ive noticed any leaking feeling or contractions and I dont think I have, but how do I know? What if when I think Im just sweaty down there Im actually leaking fluid? Or that my random cramps arent actually contractions? Hubs or my mom thinks that since Im a smaller person a lower amount of fluid might be acceptable, but it still doesnt explain my cervix. Both also think that when the specialist checks me out they wont find anything abnormal. Im just so worried also trying to put my faith in God but since Im still worried, I think Im failing at that :/

I wont be on much today but wanted to give you ladies the update. Hoping that by the end of today I'll have the appointment with the specialist made at least.

So sorry you are going through this scare I have an incompetent cervix and did have my babies early, but with them I did always make it pretty far (35-37 weeks) and they were born in full term health, so try not to work yourself up prematurely. Stress won't help! And it sounds like your doctors are being cautious so I bet everything will work out for you in the end <3

((hugs)). Just keep in mind that if you and your doctors are taking measures to make sure pre term labor doesn't start. I'll be thinking of you!

Hopefully you can get in to the specialist soon and they can reassure you and come up with a game plan! Try not to worry too much, I had low fluid with DD1, too!
