went in to get the results for my level two ultrasound. i asked my ob if she could double check the gender because the technician was having a hard time getting a shot. she has an old machine and actually took her time instead of the tech and said the gender was not very obvious she thought maybe she could have seen a penis but wasnt sure. when she moved the wand a little i saw three lines and asked about it and she just said hmmm yea you should know for sure your next ultrasound. i may or may not have seen a penis/ cord i couldnt tell because her machine is very old but i could clearly see the butt and two legs but other than that i couldnt tell. not sure what to think at this point im just going to stick with boy for right now im just wanting a confirmation not a i think that could be a penis.

I would go to one of those $50/$70 gender ultrasound places. boys tend to be obvious...

I agree. Little boys are definately either there or not, there's no mistaking a penis sticking out.

That's what I thought but baby was in bad position. The ultrasound tech said she was 95% positive it was a penis then the Dr saying she thinks she sees a penis on an old machine makes me think UT has to be boy then because girls don't have a penis LOL I mean 19 weeks you'd think they'd get a good shot but I'm just guna go with what they think and anxiously wait it out

Oh and lost your gender prediction on the tarot card reading you said confusion with gender LOL thank you very much haha

Awww that stinks!

I, personally, think if two people think they saw a penis there probably is one! My LO (a girl) looked 100% girly from her 12 week ultrasound!

yes this was my conclusion! it is a boy just bad positioning. i just want that no doubt about it scan! with my son the second she put on the wand on my tummy at my 18 week appt there was no doubt about it! that was definitely a penis no need to point it out haha. but also with my son two weeks prior at my 16 ultrasound the doctor and the ultrasound tech both agreed girl! they also said couldnt get a great shot though. im just hoping it doesnt happen again this time around. im ready to get excited already and afraid ill get gender disappointment if for any reason this baby turns out to be a girl. i was a little disappointed when they said boy because i felt like this baby was a girl, but now im getting excited thinking of two boys so close in age.
