I picked up a 5 gallon water jug to put on my cooler and now I'm cramping and aching. I'm sitting down now but how bad was that? I'm sort of freaking out.

I tend to get crampy and sore when I have a long, busy, over-doing day. Take an hour, relax, drink lots of water, and you should feel better soon. I'd call your dr/midwife tomorrow morning if you aren't doing better. Good luck, hon.

I did that the other day, lifting things. I just stopped and drank water, and felt better after a bit.

Yeah, I realized I overdid it the last couple of days at work. More lifting, on my feet all day, etc. Been a bit crampy, tired, and just feeling crummy. I'm trying to relax and go to be early. And do nothing all weekend!

Take it easy and hopefully you'll feel better soon!

Agreed with everyone else. Drink lots of water, relax with your feet up and if it is still bothering you, talk to your OB's office. I find that I get pulling/stretching sensations especially on my right side if I am bending/lifting a lot through the day. Yay for a growing uterus lol!

Oh no! I picked up a case of water and did something similar and like the ladies mentioned, I drank water and sat with my feet up for awhile. I think basically I over extended the muscle or something and it feels much better today! (It was yesterday)

Hope you're feeling better soon!

It's so hard to remember to limit ourselves. I hope you are feeling better.

I'm feeling much better and luckily no bleeding. I don't know what I was thinking. I mean, I JUST had my cerclage a week ago. Dumb, dumb. Anyway, now I know what to look out for. Thanks everyone!

Don't beat yourself up! It's natural to do our everyday things without always thinking first.

I have trouble figuring out how much to limit myself. I work in childcare and lift large children quite often (we also transport preschool/school age children so some of them are really quite big and we have to move pretty fast so if someone is having a fit or something I am used to just scooping them up). My midwife said that I wouldn't hurt the baby I just might hurt my back or something, which so far is fine . . .
