So, the other day I was feeling super bloated and uncomfortable and my sister reached out to touch and said it was her nephew. I told her no I feel uncomfortable right now and dont want to be touched! She didn't take me seriously and touched anyway.. well, I can only imagine as I get bigger if strangers try that stunt!! oh no!! I need a warning label I think or people will end up getting slapped away very often. Anyone else just not want to be touched?

YES!!! That is me I do not like to be touched at all!!! I get mad at DH when he rubs my belly it annoys me and kind of make me feel queasy after awhile of him doing it...so I definitely need one of those shirts otherwise the slaps will be given frequently lol

I've only had one friend touch without asking (and one other ask first), and I was honestly fine with it. But not so much with most other people. I'm gonna just have to get over it, though. Especially once the baby comes, random Korean strangers will apparently be all over us. They tend to be like that with babies in general, but even more so with foreign babies because they're a novelty. Heck, I know an adult woman who had a stranger pet her hair on the subway once because blond hair is apparently fascinating. But I've also gotten over the idea of having personal space while out in public because there's just not room for it.

I wouldn't blame you for getting the shirt, though! Sometimes people need it spelled out for them.

I love those!! I only let my husband and very close friends touch.. I can't stand if a stranger comes up to me and tries. It's beyond rude!!

HA HA HA!! I don't mind if people I know touch my belly, I just don't like complete strangers touching me. There is something called PERSONAL space. Uggh. These will be the same people that touch all over your baby's face and hands when they are little. Ick.

I remember when I was pregnant with my daughter Maddie, I was in Brookshires standing in line and a woman came up to me and went berserko on my belly, rubbing it and touching all over and fricking jiggling it

Its fine if its family/friends but noooo to strangers.

Love them! I feel so awkward when people touch my belly, except DH!

My sister was touching my stomach when I was like NEWLY pregnant and I kept saying to her, "Erin! That's just FAT not baby! Quit rubbing my fat!" lmao

Lurking...
But OMG had I known about a shirt like that last pregnancy, I would have bought five!!! I seriously had strangers in public touch me. It was usually the older crowd, and there was a lady who told me it "used to be considered good luck". Standing in line to buy a drink at Subway, walking through Walmart or Target.
I know people meant well, but I darn well bet if I walked up to them and touched them they would be pissed. Be prepared for it, and let them know its not okay!

When my mom was pregnant, she had a male acquaintance poke her belly when she was about 7 months, and tell her she would NEVER make it to term because she was going to pop. She growled back that if he ever poked her belly like that again, he'd be pulling back a stump.
Why do people WANT to touch us angry pregnant gals? Lol.

that's so cute!!! I admit I never touch someone's belly without asking (and I only ask people I'm really really close to), but I personally don't care if people touch my belly. And oddly, no one ever does LOL

For me it depends on my current mood. But often I think it's so nice that people are happy to see a new life in the making. We are walking around with such an amazing miricle inside us. Nobody who wants to touch is doing it out of malice. Of course there should be permission but some times they are just too excited to ask. So I guess it doesn't bother me too much though I can't say I have never jumped in shock when a random belly rub happens. Lol.

It depends on my mood if I can about being touched. I don't often mind if it is people I know, especially if we're talking about her kicking, but I think I would be bothered if a stranger did it.

it depends on my mood too. I think if a random stranger did it I'd be taken aback. I also thought it was funny when DH would talk to the wrong part of my belly. I never corrected him. I just let him think the baby was all up in my ribs and not actually in my uterus. lol!
