Are you going to buy your other kiddos a special shirt (like Big Brother, Big Sister) or a special gift when baby comes?? I didn't get a chance to when #2 and #3 were born because they were early, but I planned early enough with #4 and I had personalized shirts made for all of them when he was born.

I will be either sewing them a special shirt or having them made again. They really REALLY enjoyed them and I LOVE having a picture with them in their new big brother/sister shirt.

I am thinking about doing "Big Brother" and "Little Brother" when we take him home from the hospital. Not sure yet, but I like that idea

I don't think so. My kids are all so much older, I don't think they would go for wearing them.

We're definitely going to so something but were not sure what yet. We've thought about gifts from baby to each of them (something they can save)...

The big kids are going to Build A Bear before she's born and going to make her a special bear for her together.

Oh yeah we're definitely doing the Build a bear for the new baby. We did that with our last baby and the kids SO enjoyed that. When we told them we were pregnant, that asked if we could make a new bear this time!!

We have a big sister shirt for Maddie to wear and I am also going to get her a necklace that says big sister on it and I'm going to give it to her when she comes up to the hospital

This is what I am thinking of getting for Maddie:

I want to get them big brother big sister and little brother shirts. I like the idea of the build a bear thing. Have them each make one for themselves and one for their new brother. I also want to have a big brother/sister gift for them to get while visiting me and baby in the hospital, from their baby brother. Not exactly sure what it will be just yet. Maybe some new coloring books or something like that.

My mom actually bought DS a onesie in California that says "I'm going to be a big brother".. Problem is they don't sell many things in 9-12 months that say big brother, haha. I would have to get some personalized stuff.

I just picked up two matching big sister shirts at Kohl's today for my 7 and 4 year old girls. Excited to find them. When I did this for my second daughter, I had to order stuff on line and it was expensive.

I still have the big sister shirt dd1 wore when dd2 was born and now it fits dd2 so I won't bother. My oldest wouldn't be caught dead in a big kid version.
