I'm a FTM, so when should I start to feel the baby ALL the time, sitting, standing, walking, laying down? I only feel him when I'm laying still or sitting for quite a while very still.

This is my second and I feel her constantly even when standing or walking. She is much more of an active baby than my first and my first was pretty darn active. This little girl is always moving and grooving!

My second and I feel her when sitting, laying or standing still sometimes. Definitely not while being active. I can't remember when that starts to happen, but I'm anxious for it!

Thats completely normal for me. I am a first time mom, too.. I am 23 weeks today and just now feeling him more when standing or walking but not a whole lot. I feel him really active when Im sitting or laying down still.. and especially in the middle of the night.

I only feel the baby when I'm being still too. I think you just don't notice it when you're doing other things. Also, (the reason that they keep you up all night) is that you walking around and doing stuff is comforting/soothing to them and kind of rocks them to sleep as they sway in the amniotic fluid and vibrations and stuff. So when you stop moving and rest or sleep is when they usually wake up.

I feel the baby when I'm doing everything but that doesn't mean it's constant. It's basically when she is not sleeping. She sleeps a bunch and is "awake" in short bursts through out the day.

#5 for me and just in the past few days (I'm almost 20 weeks) I have started to feel alot of movement. I don't notice it as much when I'm walking around, I do feel movement while standing though.

I am 20 weeks and 3 days and a FTM as well and just started feeling movement on Wednesday night. I was sitting still while on my laptop and could feel some light little taps and a couple of squirming movements. Then yesterday I felt him kicking when I was in the car with my music on while sitting still... I was joking with my husband he must have liked "Suit and Tie" by Justin Timberlake . I think you probably notice it more when you're lying/sitting still, especially since these babes are still so small.
