clear fluid that would leak out randomly??? its been happening since last night on and off and ive had some light cramping in my c section scar area, the fluid is not mucus and does not look or smell like pee its just watery. i didnt experience this with my son so not sure what to think. i called my ob and she said that if i do have a slow amniotic leak there's nothing they can really do to intervene at this point. my husband really wants me to go in and just get it checked out but i hate the hospital especially the one here.

I'd still guess it's mucus. it can be quite watery but if you are concerned call the dr.

Definately keep track. I thought there was some kind of test they could swab you for if they thought you were leaking amniotic fluid. I'd say possibly call the doctor back tomorrow if it continues.

If it were me I would go get checked out just so I could have a piece of mind that everything is ok.

I'd definitely get it checked out. If it is mucus then at least you'll feel better about it. Let us know!

I hate that they are so nonchalant about it. I would want to get checked, but if the doc office said they aren't worried then I probably wouldn't go to the ER over it either. It's such an easy thing for them to check, too.
