It went well, as far as I know. Baby is defnitely a girl and has some long legs (measuring about a week ahead on the legs). Weighs about 11oz at 19 1/2 weeks. She was super cute, but very sleepy. She is breech (doesn't matter at this point, plus I am most likely having a repeat C-section). The tech couldn't get good views of her heart. She tried for about 20 minutes. Had me go to my OB appointment and come back. Still couldn't get good views because the baby was curled up in a ball. She told me she is going to send what she has to the Radiologist and if it isn't good enough I will have to go back. If I don't hear anything by the end of the week, no news is good news.
I had my OB appointment too. Up 4lbs from last month, for a total of 16lbs. BP good. My 2nd trimester blood work was back and my risk for DS is now 1 in 2,400. Trisomy 18 is 1 in 80,000 and nueral tube defects 1 in 10,000. I am pretty sure this little girl is just fine! We talked about delivery a little and I am sure if I really pushed it, my doctor may be amenable to trying a VBAC2. He did say a C-section is safer, so I think I am going that route. It will be scheduled for August 23rd. Yeay!!
Here is my little cutie!
Here is her foot
Here is her hand
I have no idea why the pic of her hand is so huge. Sorry about that.
