What are your thoughts on the name Felix Harrison? Or Lincoln Samuel? These are the only two names on our list right now.

We like uncommon but not unknown names. There are lots of specific requirements but I won't get into them here, just looking for your opinions on two of our (so far only) options!

Personally I'm not crazy about either, but out of the two I prefer Felix.

If you're not really feeling either name, try asking the ladies on here for some suggestions Our baby's first name was actually suggested by one of the awesome women in our DDC, I never would have thought of it lol and there are women on here who love thinking of names too so I'm sure they wouldnt mind helping

As for suggestions, of course they are welcome, but we have all these guidelines/rules which frankly make us seem crazy! But here they are:
1) not a common name (ie preferably not in the top 50 or even to 100)
2) not an unheard of name
3) easy to read/spell - no unusual spellings or variations of common names just with different spellings
4) the name can't start with m or z
5) the name can't end in -ER (eg Tyler, Spencer) (too matchy matchy with our last name)
6) my husband doesn't like names that end in y or ie (Brody, Jamie) - doesn't bother me.

Ok! Crazy, I know, but there are the rules... You can see why this is a struggle!

I LOVE the name Felix! I wanted to considered for our LO but DH didn't like it at all. I like both names, though! You have good choices.

I'm peeping in from November DDC, I like Lincoln better. I am also into unusual names, my youngest sons name is Weston. I also have a Parker (I don't think that's on the list and its my fave name ever but it does t for the no ER guideline). I currently don't know what I am having but we have a boys name picked out. Knox O'Neal. O'Neal is a family name and I haven't ever heard it except for my grandfather. I know I'm going I get some weird looks but I love it.

I was just thinkin about Knox as a name yesterday! Looks like Lincoln is the front runner as of today. Of course, my DH just told me he prefers Felix as of yesterday.
