At first I thought it was just coincidence but it keeps happening.. The cat loves to curl up on my lap or against my belly at night and at first it was only occasional but now it never fails. Every time my cat starts to purr he kicks her! I don't know if he likes her or is just telling her to go away, though. Its soooo cute!! Anyone else have their little ones familiar with pets already? Im wondering if it is the sound or vibration of the purring that wakes him up.

This is what I wake up to:

right against the belly

Aww my lil one will kick me and daddy but as soon as one of he kids want to feel she stops, haha. She was kicking away the other day and I told daddy to feel, she kicked and I said did you feel that? No. She kicked harder again asked and got a no, she kicked harder and again I asked and he said no, so then she kicked really hard and he felt her for the first time! I was like she was saying daddy I'm here!

OMG.... I thought it was just my little ladybug. When my cat sits in my lap or lay cross my stomach baby will kick the cat too. I don't think my cat notices it though.... its the weirdest thing but also cute. I really think it's the purring that sets her off. Lol Im so in love with my little ladybug already. These kicks make everything seem more real and all the pain easier to endure.

The bam bean-o kicks anything that gets close to my stomach (I.e labtop or book), but he won't kick for anyone that tries to feel him kick.

Baby girl kicks when anything is on my stomach unless it is dads hand then she stops moving. It cracks me up!

Jace is the exact same way! I cant have anything on my stomach or he'll try to knock it off, but as soon as anybody tries to feel him, he stops lol he's starting to be more accepting of Kev's hand but other than us he's only moved for one other person

Your cat looks exactly like mine, he's a maine coon/Norwegian forest cat cross and he used to do the same thing. Think he knows Matteo is in there cause now he sleeps lower on me (basically stretched out down my legs when I'm laying in bed).
My girl cat walks all over my stomach and I'm waiting for the day that he kicks her and scares the **** out of her haha

she is a maine coon. Shes such a lazy cuddle bug. I know she is going to hate when she is not the baby anymore. I don't think she has felt the baby kick her but I sure feel him kicking her as hard as he can. lol

Our dogs are too big to sleep with us, but I think it's so cute that your little ones are doing that! Maybe it's their way of communication.
