...and found out that we're having a little girl! Even more importantly, she (so glad I can stop calling her "it") looked healthy and measured pretty much on track. My EDD from this is just two days after my original one, so August 28.
Her heartbeat was 147, and she was just squirmy enough to get to see her kicking and trying to suck her thumb but not too squirmy to make it hard to get the measurements. I won't get to talk to the doctor about it until my next appointment in early May, but the tech said everything looked good. It's such a reassurance to hear that and see her in there! And still hard to believe all that's going on inside me right now.
So now we have to figure out a name. We'd agreed very quickly and easily on a boy's name but had no idea for a girl. I'm probably going to be spending way too many hours this weekend looking for ideas and adding stuff to our registry. Yay!!
