Normally it irritates me when women freak out over weight gain and their size while being pregnant. So, of course, it is only fitting that I am now becoming one of them.
I feel ginormous. Even my mother and husband agree that I'm much bigger this time, though they insist it is all belly. I guess that is supposed to make me feel better, but it doesn't.
I was looking through instagram last night and came across a photo of a woman at 39 weeks and I hate to admit it, but I thought she was having twins at first. She was huge. Once I realized it was only one, I had to go back and look at her 24 week shot and size wise it wasn't any bigger than my own bump, just shaped differently. Now I am really scared!
Awww! No freaking out allowed, missy! You look beautiful, and your body is going to do what it needs to do, so try not to stress so much about the way you look right now. It's normal to look different for each pregnancy. As long as you're trying to eat healthy, you'll be just fine.
I have the same type of fear. I know I haven't gained much when I step on the scale but my face, arms, and thighs are fatter. Just keep telling yourself, "I'm not fat, I'm pregnant." I have to remind myself that throughout the week. We wouldn't be gaining weight if we weren't growing a child.
No worries! I am the same way! MUCH bigger this time around, faster weight gain, but haven't really changed my diet much except for a few sporadic "splurges" lol so I know it's not me doing something wrong, baby is probably just bigger than I expected lol
*Thank you to *Kiliki* for my beautiful signature!*
I can feel myself getting huge this time, and it's disappointing because last time I only gained 29 total pounds and it was all belly. This time my belly is already huge, but I am also gaining weight in my face/arms/legs/all over and I feel huge and gross!!!!!!!!!!! And still almost 4 months to go!!!!!!!!! blah
I feel icky too! With my first son I gained weight everywhere and looked like a different person. Last 2 babies it was mostly in the belly and legs. Now this time I have been putting on weight in my face from the get go, and course everywhere else too. Even my hubby says my face is changing this time. It's so frustrating. I know it can and hopefully will be lost, but it's still not fun be a chubby preggo. I had hoped only my belly would expand but that is just not how it goes.
