So, as a FTM I have literally been worrying about everything! And today I started worrying that maybe this position was unsafe? My s/o and I were having sex this way and while it wasn't slow and steady wins the race, lol.. It wasn't like hardcore rough. It didnt hurt or anything either but I started to wonder if like the motion of my belly swinging back and forth (although I'm not even that big yet at all) can cause the placenta to tear??? My doctor said last week sex was safe for me... But is the swinging back and forth motion of doggy style an easy way for the placenta to tear away? I'm so so worried

I wouldn't worry about it As long as you aren't on "pelvic rest" and it wasn't hurting, you're fine!

Okay.. Thanks! Ya, I'm not on pelvic rest... I just didnt know if it was really easy for the placenta to tear! I have no limitations in anything but I'm so worried about doing everything right to protect the baby.

Yes as long as you're not in pain you're good! I know they say the only position to be careful with is anything with you laying flat on your back. You can still have sex that way but to have a pillow under your hips to elevate you :-)

Yup it's fine!! As long as it isn't causing pain or you're on pelvic rest. So enjoy!
