Yes, my hospital has a pull out sofa for the Dad's to stay on while you're in the hospital. He'll be staying with me, as long as we don't run into any snags with childcare for the big kids.

with my hospital birth he stayed the whole time. But I was only there 1 night and we didn't have any other kids. If we have a hospital delivery he will probably stay, but we haven't really talked about it.

In the hospital I delivered my first two at we had to share a room so hubbies couldn't stay.
This time it's a private room with a pull out bed for the Dad but dh will be going home at night time to mind the other two.

He will be staying. I refuse to stay alone, I hate hospitals. Plus with a csection I need his help.

We will be in a private room with a bed for him in my hospital, he will probably stay over the first night, depending what time I deliver, but then will go home to be with our girls (and get my mom out of out house/hair) LOL!!!

DH won't be here but I doubt my mom or MIL will stay. I need at least one of them to take care of the dog & also get my older kiddo to school. I'm hoping, if everything goes smoothly I can SLEEP and also get discharged from the hospital as soon as I can. With DD I was insistent on not even staying 2 nights.

Yup the whole time Im there hubby will be with me. I have c sections and I will need his help. Our DS is staying with my best friend who he calls her auntie, so to him its like a fun sleepover with her kids. Hubby will however go get him 1 day and bring him up to the hospital so he can meet his little brother

I am not sure yet. We will have a pull out bed available, but those are tiny and my hubby is a big man towering over 6 feet tall. He has also mentioned that he wants to be home with the kids so we don't have to worry about childcare.

Depends on which option I decided upon for the birth. If baby is born at home, no issue then. If we end up in the hospital, I have talked to that MW and will be going home after 12 hours, if for any reason I have to stay one night, dh is staying with me.

My husband will be with me all he can! We're still configuring child care for my older two and someone to take care of our puppy while we're away. With my daughter I was only there for one night, with this one and us having him circumsised I bet we're there more like 2 nights.

My husband couldn't with my hospital births because he had works and then we had another kid to worry about. With my third, of course he was with me because it was just the birth and then we went home a couple hours later It will be that way again

Since we are planning a home delivery he will stay! Although he wont take much time off work, just the day baby is born and that's it. With my first 2 births it was at a hospital and he stayed the first time. The second one he went home and my sister stayed because he had to go to work.

We haven't discussed it, but I doubt it. Our biggest issue is childcare for the boys. If we don't have any he will have to go home with them. He doesn't sleep well other places anyway, and if I need help there are nurses.
