Life after birth is (sometimes) hectic and busy... Does anyone have nice, simple recipes to share for meals that can be frozen and reheated for a fast dinner? A dinner with out any prep work for the mom of a newborn who still has a family to feed (and herself!).

Totally didn't see the post below haha but still, please share ladies!

I've never had success when freezing and trying to reheat cooked vegetables or meat/chicken (unless those ingredients are IN something) but some things that have been good for us to freeze.

Harder to Make
Lasagna
Perogies (but these would have to be boiled before serving, I guess unless you do that step ahead of time...)

Easy to Make
Stuffed Crescent Rolls (NOT healthy) but we make these with ground beef, onion soup mix, and cheese, wrap it in a crescent roll, bake, and then you can eat or freeze. Very easy to do.

I'm looking forward to reading more ideas here!

I used the breakfast burrito one off of Pinterest. Its so good. Add what you would to a breakfast burrito (eggs, ham, sausage, hash browns, ham, whatever you want). Wrap individually in plastic wrap. Put in freezer bags and freeze.

Besides easy breakfast sandwiches for the hubby/kids, I'll be making

chicken enchiladas

Manicotti

Stuffed shells

meatballs

Chicken alfredo with extra sauce

cheeseburger casserole

baked ravioli

various bags of flavored cooked chicken (chicken taco meat, chicken nachos, etc)

Pulled pork

lasagna rollups

I might add more as I find them

I'm not a good cook, can you post the recipes to these or a link to a good recipe?

Sure, Most of these I found online.

Chicken enchiladas (these are super easy and use canned chicken so no need to thaw anything or mess with raw chicken!)

Campbell's Kitchen: Easy Chicken Enchiladas

Easy Manicotti

Easy-to-Stuff Manicotti Recipe | Taste of Home Recipes

Easy stuffed shells ( my kids eat these with no complaints! )

Growing Up Geeky: Easy Five Ingredient Stuffed Shells (OMG I can cook!)

Chicken lasagna rollups

Cooks.com - Recipe - Chicken-Broccoli Lasagna Rolls

(When I make the rollups I stand them on their end so part of the roll gets a little crispy )

Here's my list: (all found on Pinterest)

Spinach lasagna roll ups
Chicken enchiladas
Taco chili
Chicken and rice soup
Mexican chicken
Meatballs
Italian chicken
Cheesy chicken, rice, and broccoli
Chicken tortilla soup
Breakfast burritos

And since my sis makes awesome lasagna I'm going to ask her to make me one for me to freeze. And my mom make me a chicken, rice, and broccoli thing (different than the cheesy one).
