I have btdt with cloth diapers. No problems. This time around i decided to try cloth wipes. Seeing as toe is still in diapers, I wanted to try them out. I do not know what I am doing wrong but they are so smelly! I made a soltion out of baby shampoo, baby oil, and water like I read online and poured it over the wipes in an old sposie wipe container but after a day or so they get that wet clothes yucko mildewy smell. Advice??

No advice, I just wet them when I need them. They sit in a basket dry until I use them.

Keep them dry until you need them. I have our changing table near the bathroom and I just get 2-3 wet with water when I need them. I used to have a solution in a peri bottle at the changing table.

I could never get wet wipes to work either. I just keep a spray bottle of wipe solution on the changing table and spray as needed :-)

ok then! Thats my mistake, i was pouring the solution on the wipes and I should be just wetting with solution as needed. I think that peri bottle they give after birth will be perfect for that!!

yes, peri bottle or I just use water when I need to use them. Letting them soak is probably why they are smelling funky.
