I've been having a lot of BH contractions and this morning when I woke up I had a handful of SUPER painful ones! Yikes. I hope that doesn't become a regular occurrence. I can't remember too well with DS, I know I had BH but I don't remember them being painful really.

How about everyone else? Are you having a lot of BH?

I've been having contractions that I wouldn't call Braxton hicks but they are too far apart to do anything about (maybe one every 6-12 hours).

I was just talking to my sister about this (she's due 2 weeks after me)
I haven't had any Braxton hicks so far. Is that weird? With my first I felt none. Felt lots with my second and I'm pretty sure it was at this stage. They say they get stronger with each pregnancy but I haven't felt any yet.

Hope yours subside!!

I'm having a lot of them too, I ended up asking my doctor about them on Tuesday because they seem to be much more frequent, earlier, and more uncomfortable than the ones I had with Chase. She told me to drink a lot of water and if I had 6+ in an hour to call their on call or go to L&D to be checked. She offered a cervical check Tues to see if I was dilated any but I opted out of that (surprise crotch checks are no fun haha).

They hit me so strongly that I have a hard time even trying to walk- not in pain but just SO tight and uncomfortable!

I'm having them on and off. Some of mine are painful too which is confusing because they say BH "don't hurt". Maybe they are just sporadic real contractions? I know with my other kids the dr was always surprised at how dilated I was pretty early. I was like 4 cm dilated at 35 weeks and didn't deliver until 39 weeks.

I haven't had any... I don't really remember having them with DD either. I also drink a **** ton of water so I wonder if that's why.

I'm the same with Fins, I haven't had any yet either and drink a LOT of water but I'm a FTM and I know a few you said it's pretty normal not to feel them with your first baby.

I'm sorry they're so painful for you! I have zero experience but maybe a nice bath would help? *hugs*

I've been having quite a few BH, about 5-6 a day, more on busy/stressful days. I haven't had any painful ones, though. I've heard some women do have painful BH, though. I hope they subside for you!
