Oh gosh I hope the extra 24 hours of mag keeps her in there for as long as possible!

Oh no! Did your bp go back up? do they have you on any bp meds?

Have you gotten any steroid shots in you? Hopefully, they can keep baby in long enough to get the second round of steroids.

I am so sorry you are going through this I know it is not what you envisioned for your birth...but pre-e is serious business, and it sounds like they are trying to keep your health as the focus.

Also, be prepared...when I was on Mag they wouldn't let me see baby for the first 24 hours. I don't want to only give you the negative...but also don't want you to be broad-sided once baby is here.

My heart is crying out for you right now. I hope that you can keep baking baby!

Thanks ladies. I am trying not to cry cuz that's no good for my bp but I am failing. BP is creeping up again. They haven't given me any more bp meds since the pill they gave when I started the magnesium. I cannot cope with the idea of a csection at all. My labs are good too. I got one steroid shot last night supposed to he another at midnight tonight I think. I just hope the peri has good news. There has to be something more they can do at the very least let me have this baby vaginally.

Sending you all the positive vibes I can!

Is the peri supposed to talk to you tonight or are they going to make you wait until tomorrow?

Lurking from the September DDC, but I couldn't read without sending huge hugs and lots of positive thoughts and prayers for you and your little girl! I really, really hope something can be worked out that will allow you to avoid a c/s, but hope that no matter what happens next that you are at peace with your birthing experience.

Thank you ladies I am not feeling great but in in better spirits.

Peri was pushed back to tomorrow . Blood pressure not great, up from what it has been, not feeling great, but baby is great. Urine output improving though! Was 30-40 and sometimes 60 ( they want 50+) and this time it was like 60 and 100. Still struggling to breathe when I sleep (oxygen saturation drops 1% below where they want it but no big deal just uncomfortable). My liver is fine, my white blood cells are iffy but I have no fever. I'm tired and uncomfortable and a bit of a headache but just hoping to get blood pressure down and get sent home...

Still keeping up with your updates and thinking of you! How did your 24 hour urine come back? Have they told you yet?

Hoping with all fingers crossed that things calm down, baby gets to stay put, and you don't need a csection. Healthy Mom and baby are key though. I'm so sorry you're going through all this!

They send my urine off in the morning so get results tomorrow afternoon. Just got my second shot for baby's lungs. Hurt way worse this time! My urine output is getting amazing now. Blood pressure is up and down but mostly due to stress when it's up so hopefully they still let me to home. Breathing difficulties are stressing me out too. But I mean overall it's good right now I feel optimistic so long as they don't try to deliver baby via csection I'm good.

Crappy update time. My labs are all back I don't have HELP but I have a TON of protein in my urine. I am here until I have the baby now. Most likely by c-section.
