BP was good. 110/60 I think he said. Weight gain is 19lbs total so I'm on track for less than the other two times. I gained 35 with my first and 29 with my second.
Baby is still head down. Weighing in at 4lb 4 oz. He's concerned about it being too big and wants me to try and keep it under 8lbs!! Eh there's not a whole lot I can do about that! I already walk about 15 miles a week. My weight gain isn't huge. I just think his estimate is off. He said if he thinks it's getting close to 8lbs he's going to recommend inducing at 39 weeks!!!! I was afraid of this when I switched to him, I've heard he's a great Dr but very big on inductions. I definitely don't want to be induced just based on size estimates! I'm hoping baby comes early itself so it won't even be an issue!
So glad you had a great appointment, but you're totally right. There's no reason to agree to induction based on his estimate of size. Those estimations are rarely that accurate as it is and your baby will grow to be the size it needs to be.
sounds like your body is doing great and baby is growing beautifully! I also wouldn't want to be induced based on that! I thought 4lbs 4oz was big for 32 weeks when I found out that is how big my peanut is but turns out that's only in like the 40th percentile (or the chart I looked at was wrong). I hope your doctor doesn't pressure you into an induction you don't want or like you said that baby comes early on his/her own!
