Are those creams like IcyHot safe? I feel like all of a sudden in the last few days my body has just taken a beating. My neck/shoulder/back are all killing me and I can't get comfortable laying down or sitting to save my life. Ice isn't doing much and I can't stand to have heat anywhere near me (if it would even work...)
There's a tube of generic "Muscle Rub" in the cabinet but I don't know if it's okay to use. I mean it's topical but I'd imagine my body would absorb whatever is in it.
The internet has mixed responses. Anyone have their doctor give them the OK to use these products?
I used it on my shoulder because the pain was just unbearable. I did not get "approval" from my dr.. but, I figured really how much harm can it do? I wouldn't go rubbing it all over my belly everyday, but if your in pain I bet the risk is low.
