Hey ladies I bought a exercising ball! I heard it's good for hip pain and lower back pain. Also its supposed to help with opening your pelvis and moving baby in position. I don't know if it will really work for moving baby but it does help my back.

Have any of you used a ball during pregnancy and did it work for the purpose you wanted it for?

I just bought one the other week and yes it helps so much with my hip pain and back pain! It forces me to sit up straight so I'll sit on in while I watch tv or even on the computer I'm not sure about it moving baby into position for me but for everything it does it was definitely worth it

Sounds awesome! I have thought about it but I'm not coordinated and I wonder if I could hold my balance lol

I love birth balls. Sometimes it is the only way I am comfortable to sit.

I highly recommend getting one! Just make sure someone is there when you first sit on it to hold their hands or sit on it next to something to hold onto to get your balance before going hands free I got just a regular exercise ball since they tend to be much cheaper than birthing balls. I found it at Target for $15 and it's a big 75cm one

Yep I've got one and it helps with pressure so much. I've been bouncing on it too and it seems to be working as baby is head down in position. Mine was $8 at Wal-Mart and is a 65cm one.

I've been meaning to get one and planned to when running errands today. But they were out! Of course, there's nowhere else for me to get one here, and ordering one online takes a while. There was one that was in a set with weights and stuff, but I didn't want those. So I'm going to have to keep checking and hope they restock soon (the likelihood of which is questionable).
