How soft do you mean? Could it be the baby has its back towards your spine? Baby still moving normally?

My stomach sometimes feels soft in the mornings... I don't think I would worry unless the baby wasn't really moving... But if you are then you should call your doctors office. If they think its concerning they can ask you to come in, and hopefully find everything's AOK!

Maybe you've dropped? Meaning the baby has dropped into your pelvis making a little more room?

If you're super worried, go to L&D. Always better to be safe then sorry!

If you're worried, go in or call L&d. My baby is sooooo low my stomach sometimes feels soft but then with contractions my whole stomach hardens again and he's so big that he pushes out making it hard, too.. So a squishy stomach at 38weeks+ is not normal for me.. But every pregnancy is different.

It could just be that baby moved into a different position. I know sometimes my tummy gets soft too in some areas but then can still feel her low if I push in a little. I agree with the other ladies, if you're worried just call your doctor or go into L&D just to make sure and to ease your mind
