Ouch.
I had contractions on and off all night but am not quite a 2 he stripped my membranes which was a little painful but I'm hoping it speeds things up. He told me we could talk about induction next week for 39 weeks if I wanted to, he said it was definitely ok for me to let nature take its course but that he understood if I wanted an induction it being so hot. My last induction was miserable but I'm miserable now so I'm considering it. Maybe the membrane strip will work, my mom said it worked for her. I'm going to pick up some red raspberry leaf tea today maybe that will help things along too and I'm going for a walk.
I'm on the verge of tears ugh

I have an appt. in the morning. I'll be 38.6 weeks. I am really really hoping it works. But, I am honestly trying not to get my hopes up. I know it worked with one of my daughters, but I don't think it was the first time and I was 4 days past due.

I have been taking rrlt for about 6 weeks now. I don't know if it will do any good for you at this point. I heard it works "over time". But, I guess it's worth a try?

Hoping your stripping works for you!!!

My health food store only had pregnancy tea. Worth a shot I guess.

I had my membranes stripped at 37 weeks exactly 3cm dilated. Had some contractions off and on few days before the striping. 3 hours later or so, i started with stronger contractions. That night i was 5-7 minutes apart. The next day started at 3-5 minutes apart. That night 2 minutes apart and in active labor. 2 days later, i'm holding my baby girl. If you are ready to go, it will work. Just give it time. Good luck!

Good luck! Hang in there. My Dr said the same thing. I'm trying to let nature take it's course but it's hard waiting too. Hopefully you get some activity tonight.

My dr doesn't strip membranes til due date. And she is going to be away so if I am still pg Monday I will find out what her partner does. My dr expected me to have baby by now. So did I. Really sad that she will not be here.

Just some mild contractions and maybe a little mucus plug.
A little crampy.
Not expecting anything today, trying to be patient
